Calaboo Dairy Co.
About the organization
CalaBoo Dairy Co., a social enterprise born in GK Enchanted Farm, transforms lives with carabao milk by leveraging public-private partnerships throughout the entire value chain and ensuring that every link is optimized to enrich the lives of all stakeholders, especially impoverished farmers.
It focuses on developing the market by filling the gap for premium, local, health-oriented, all-natural, minimally processed dairy products and building a consumer brand – CalaBoo – that farmers can proudly call their own.
To support CalaBoo and the farmers they support, order online at calaboo.com or purchase from The Workshop in SM Mega Fashion Hall.

What makes it a social enterprise?
CalaBoo helps partners help themselves. Picking up from what Gawad Kalinga started by restoring the poor’s dignity with land, home and community, CalaBoo seeks to provide long-term livelihood opportunities that are life-affirming and celebratory in spirit. Along with material prosperity, we support ongoing personal and community development, with a sense of gratitude as the foundation.
CalaBoo shares revenues with farmers through DEED (Dairyard Enterprise Excellence Development), a collaboration of multi-sectoral partners that provides auxiliary support such as GK values formation, leadership and practical training, and access to health coverage and education so our dairy farmers are enabled to improve their quality of lives.
What is its social cause?Poverty eradication, Rural development
