About the organization
Klik Eskuela is an education-related social enterprise that harnesses technology in order to offer quality, interesting, affordable, and accessible K-12 education for the masses. Klik Eskuela utilizes a non-traditional educational model that combines home-schooling with distance learning in a community setting, turning communities into classrooms and in essence, “bringing the school to the students”.
Klik Eskuela utilizes animations, interactive games, and community-led initiatives to provide education to young children of pre-school (2-5 years) and kindergarten (5-6 years) age.

What makes it a social enterprise?
Klik Eskuela is committed to making quality education accessible to all. By harnessing the power of technology, the organization is able to reduce the costs associated with traditional education (such as facilities, personnel and content). In order to utilize Klik Eskuela’s services, communities are required to pay a start-up fee for initial set up and materials, and the project is sustained by low tuition fees on a monthly basis, which also goes toward earnings for Klik community facilitators.
Through the use of animations, interactive games and practical exercises, youth in poor communities finally have access to education that is both interesting, relevant, and affordable. With its community-led format, Klik Eskuela also engages the whole community in raising and developing their youth’s potential, therefore transforming them into self-sustaining and powerful communities.
