What makes it a social enterprise?

All ingredients are sourced from the Philippines (except for those unavailable in the country) and directly from the farmers -the highest quality cacao beans are from Davao in Mindanao, and the sugar from Bacolod in the Visayan islands. This not only ensures fresh and delicious bean-to-bar single-origin chocolates, but also provides Filipino cacao farmers and small businesses with sustainable livelihoods.

Theo & Philo proudly works in partnership with Gawad Kalinga, an organization committed to achieving its 2024 goal of ending poverty by providing housing, creating sustainable livelihoods, and developing uniquely Filipino social enterprises that will transform rural villages into strong and lasting communities.
